Makhan played a pivotal role help setting up the business, he gave strength and guidance to help Jas and Mani take this step in their lives and plays a very active role in the day to day running of the business. Makhan is ever present at funerals and there is not a funeral that passes when his not recognised for his days as a famous Kabaddi player. Before becoming a funeral operative, Makhan become known the World over as a Hall of Famer Kabaddi player, and to this day he is recognised as one the greatest players ever to play the game. This passion for sports and health still lives on today and Harmony donate thousands of pounds towards health and sports projects.

Jaswinder is warm hearted and helpful by nature. Her strong faith has given her strength to help families when they need her most. During the funeral process the hardest part for families can be bathing their loved ones, that is why Jaswinder is on hand to help and support familes during this process and help guide them through this process. Jaswinder enjoys spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren.
Jas Singh Dosanjh
Having studied and qualified as a lawyer, Jas took the bold step of deciding he wanted to help people for a career. He has the vision to reach out and help as many people as possible and so embarked on a career as a funeral director. His main duties involve helping family throughout the funeral process and overseeing the business operations. During his spare time Jas enjoys spending time with his family and also playing football and boxing.
Mani Singh Dosanjh
Mani has worked his way up from the bottom up, learning all aspects of the funeral industry and today is the companies Senior Funeral Director. His joyful and loving personality has helped families through difficult periods of their lives. Mani has played a key role in helping start the business and it was his vision to help educate the next generation on the keys aspects of traditional funerals in line with our heritage. Mani enjoys spending time with friends and family as well as watching films. He is also a regular in the gym and can often be found in the heavy weights area.
Jaskirat Kaur Dosanjh
Accounts and Admin Manager
Jaskirat joined the Harmony team after working in the accountancy sector for a number of years. She handles the accounts and administration of the company from our head office. Being a mother of two, her compassionate nature comes out when helping families with funeral arrangements. Outside of work Jaskirat enjoys spending time with her family and her two children.
Maurice brings great experience in the funeral sector to the Harmony team, having worked in the industry for over a decade, he has experienced most things. Maurice’s main duties include overseeing all the mortuaries across all the branches and managing the fleet and supplies. He has been credited for his great work in preparing deceases for families, helping them look their best. His work helps bereaved families cope with losing someone close to them by remembering them in a better light. Maurice and his wife Teresa run a caravan club and during his spare time he enjoys part taking in caravan rallies across the nation and beyond. He enjoys holidays on the continent and putting his feet up to watch some of his favourite films.
Harpinder Singh Kang
Harpinder is widely known for his knowledge on faith and philosophy and he was the host of a popular Sikh knowledge quiz show on Sikh Channel. Having worked in a number of fields, it was his work with the community that lead to him working for Harmony. His desire to help others and help people with understanding death gives him the strength to carry out his job of arranging funerals. Harpinder is mainly based at our Derby Branch having lived in the city for numerous years, his become a key figure in his local community. He enjoys doing ‘seva, selfless service’ in his time outside of work.
Gursharon Kaur Lehal
Gursharon is based across our Wolverhampton and Derby branches, having worked as a manager at Thorntons for over two decades, she brings with her great experience. Having experienced personal tragedy she can relate to families, she is incredibly sensitive, supportive and caring and takes great pride in helping families with funeral arrangements. Her desire to help people lead her to change career and embark on a person mission to make lives easier for people during difficult times. During her time off she enjoys the company of her two children, who are both happily married.
