Death in the UK – sending body abroad

Contact Harmony International Repatriation Services informing us that you wish to send your loved one abroad, providing us with details of the deceased. We will then require the following documents:

  • Death Certificate
  • Passport of deceaseD

We will then provide you with a quote and proceed in arranging the transfer.

Death Abroad – bringing body back to UK

Contact Harmony International Repatriation Services and we will discuss your circumstance, as different countries will have different regulations and processes. As a general guide we recommend:

  • Informing travel insurance company of the death (if they have insurance)
  • Contacting the UK embassy within the country you’re loved one passed away in

We understand that when loosing a loved one outside of their country of residence, it can be a confusing and complexed, however rest assured we will be by your side throughout and liaise with all significant parties to gather all the relevant documentation required to arrange flights back to the UK.

Once back in the UK we will arrange the transfer of your loved one from the airport to our care. We can then begin to make the funeral arrangements.
